It\u2019s also open for other potential PhD-students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course content:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information Visualization (InfoVis) is an area of research that focuses on the use of visualization techniques to help people understand and analyze abstract data (such as tables or hierarchies).<\/p>\n<p>The course includes visual representations, interaction techniques and visualization systems for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>text and documents,<\/li>\n<li>network data (graphs),<\/li>\n<li>time series,<\/li>\n<li>software-related data,<\/li>\n<li>SoftVis, WebVis, BioMedVis, and GeoVis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also discussed topics of importance are collaborative and personal visualization, Visual Analytics, evaluation methods for systems\/tools, and research challenges in InfoVis and Visual Analytics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timetable <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The course will start on March 19 and finish on by the end of the semester.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/se.timeedit.net\/web\/lnu\/db1\/schema1\/riqY6y6Y67vZQXQZ6150641Q6306YX994w7591ZQY0oX74159Y54X6179Y97Q1Zq7Qo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See the full time schedule\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The registration needs to be finalized no later than March 2nd 2018<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/w9NlLjwBSTves5O8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We will soon be launching more courses \u2013 so keep an eye out!<\/p>\n<p>\/\/Diana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are now offering one of the first PhD-courses related to DISA.
