He received a M.Sc.\u00a0degree in\u00a0Computer Science and Engineering in 1990 and a Ph.D. degree in Computer\u00a0Engineering in 1995, both from Lund\u00a0University. His main interests are computer\u00a0architecture, multicore systems, parallel computing, data analytics, and\u00a0performance evaluation. He has published more than hundred papers on these\u00a0subjects. During 2011-2013, he served as\u00a0Research Dean at Blekinge Institute of\u00a0Technology.
