{"id":1280,"date":"2020-09-17T17:56:27","date_gmt":"2020-09-17T16:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogg.lnu.se\/unesco\/?p=1280"},"modified":"2020-09-17T17:56:27","modified_gmt":"2020-09-17T16:56:27","slug":"post-pandemic-tourism-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogg.lnu.se\/unesco\/?p=1280","title":{"rendered":"Post-Pandemic Tourism Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cornelius Holtorf and Anders H\u00f6gberg (among others) are going to work in a new project funded by Kamprad Family Foundation 2020-2021.<\/p>\r\n<p>The project is entitled &#8220;<b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Post-Pandemic Tourism Development:\u00a0Navigating Uncertainty in the Visitor Economy<\/span><\/b>&#8221; and\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">seeks to study how stakeholders in the visitor economy in and around Kalmar make sense of the uncertainty induced by the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. We will engage stakeholders in the visitor economy in a forward-looking process to open horizons that envision the present crisis as a chance to work towards a more sustainable future.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">The project will also kick-start regular collaboration between academic researchers and key stakeholders in the local visitor economy. At a university level, the project will help establish an interdisciplinary and cross-faculty working group that establishes collaboration on issues of mutual interest between researchers in cultural heritage and archaeology on the one hand, and researchers in business studies and tourism research on the other hand.<\/span><\/div>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cornelius Holtorf and Anders H\u00f6gberg (among others) are going to work in a new project funded by Kamprad Family Foundation 2020-2021.
