{"id":863,"date":"2020-03-31T18:50:48","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T17:50:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogg.lnu.se\/unesco\/?p=863"},"modified":"2020-03-31T10:51:31","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T09:51:31","slug":"various-activities-january-march-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogg.lnu.se\/unesco\/?p=863","title":{"rendered":"Various activities January &#8211; March 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cornelius Holtorf met in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 with Professor Ou Rong, Dean of the\u00a0School of International Studies at Hangzhou Normal University, China, to discuss a variety of possibilities for future research collaboration (10 January 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Annalisa Bolin presented a research seminar on \u201cThe Heritage Politics of Post-Genocide Rwanda\u201d, with ca 25 researchers of the Department of Cultural Sciences at Linnaeus University attending (21 Jan 2020).<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Claudio Pescatore presented a research seminar on\u00a0\u201cAt the confluence of archaeology, history and sustainable development: millennial time capsules\u201d, with 16 researchers of the Department of Cultural Sciences at Linnaeus University attending (21 Jan 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Sarah May presented a research seminar on \u201cToxic Heritage and Community Futures: Contamination and regeneration in South Wales\u201d, with 18 researchers of the Department of Cultural Sciences at Linnaeus University attending (22 Jan 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Cornelius Holtorf lectured on &#8220;UNESCO and World Heritage: communication with the future&#8221; to ca 10 undergraduate students in Heritage Studies at Linnaeus University (31 January 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Cornelius Holtorf presented a keynote lecture entitled \u201cSustainable Futures for Heritage?\u201d and participated in a subsequent topical panel debate, for the more than 60 participants at the Annual Spring Conference of the\u00a0Nordic Centre of Heritage Learning and Creativity (NCK), this time dedicated to the topic\u00a0<em>Shaping Sustainable Futures through Heritage in<\/em>\u00a0\u00d6stersund, Sweden (12 February 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Cornelius Holtorf met in Paris with staff of the Swedish Permanent Delegation to UNESCO and the OECD to discuss current projects and identify matters of shared interest (4 March 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Cornelius Holtorf took part in an expert meeting on &#8220;Developing Methodologies for Integrated Governance to Protect Cultural Heritage&#8221; held at ICOMOS Headquarters, Paris (5-6 March 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Cornelius Holtorf contributed to the Consultation of the Governing Bodies of the World Heritage Convention on\u00a0the UNESCO\u00a0Medium Term Strategy 2022-2029 by submitting suggestions of priorities\u00a0to the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO (10 March 2020).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cornelius Holtorf met in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 with Professor Ou Rong, Dean of the\u00a0School of International Studies at Hangzhou Normal University, China, to discuss a variety of possibilities for future research collaboration (10 January 2020).
